Meet the Bald Hill Honey Company Team
Our Founder
Steven Linford delved into the world of apiculture in 2020, driven by a deep love for bees. His apiary is not just a collection of hives; it's a labor of passion. Steven tends to his bees with a genuine care, learning the intricate dance of their colony dynamics and ensuring their well-being. Through his journey, he not only harvests honey but also advocates for the importance of bees in our ecosystem, fostering a community that shares his enthusiasm for these remarkable pollinators. Steven has achieved the level of Apprentice Beekeeper through Washington State Beekeepers Association (W.A.S.B.A.), and is currently working on his Journeyman Certificate.
Our Apiary
Our apiary is located in the Bald Hill area of Western Washington State. The major nectar source for our bees is the Himalayan blackberry, while other sources include fireweed and goldenrod. We process and bottle our honey here on our farm, striving for healthy bees and delicious honey.
Our Products
Our delicious honey has a sweet taste of golden sunshine in every bite. With nectar gathered primarily from blackberry blossoms, it has a taste that will put a smile on your face.
